Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Self‑Funded Client Manager remote on based in Chandler, AZ. The Self‑Funded Client Manager will oversee client relationships, manage self‑funded health plans, and act as a trusted advisor for employee benefits strategies. Must be life and health licensed. Responsibilities include building and maintaining strong client partnerships, analyzing benefit plan performance, managing renewals, coordinating with vendors, open enrollment communications and meetings, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

The role requires collaboration with internal teams to provide well‑rounded support and solutions tailored to client needs.

Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of self‑funded health plans, employee benefits strategies, and associated compliance requirements
  • Leadership, client management, and the ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships
  • Analytical skills for assessing benefit plan performance and making recommendations for cost‑saving measures
  • Proficiency in coordinating with vendors, insurance carriers, and internal teams
  • Strong communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities
  • Detail‑oriented with the organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance, or a related field is preferred
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the insurance or employee benefits industry is a plus
  • Proficient in relevant software tools and platforms including Microsoft Office
