Client Relationship Manager
Position Summary
As a Strategic Account Advisor, you will focus on delivering superior operational, project management, reporting, metric tracking and solutions to Health plan clients.
Excellence in client relationship management, financial oversight, and process improvement is essential, along with contributing to a collaborative and high‑performing team culture.
- Execute client strategies that align with both client goals and organizational objectives.
- Manage day‑to‑day client relationships, ensuring services meet or exceed client expectations.
- Identify opportunities within client accounts to enhance value and grow the relationship.
- Oversee financial aspects of client accounts to maintain profitability and stay within budgetary constraints.
- Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying areas for cost savings and revenue optimization.
- Implement and refine client management workflows for efficient service delivery and responsiveness.
- Identify inefficiencies in current processes and recommend improvements that align with best practices.
- Ensure all processes are scalable and adaptable to changing client requirements.
- Monitor the performance of client accounts, striving to meet or exceed targets and client expectations.
- Provide regular feedback to the client management team and support junior team members in achieving performance goals.
- Collaborate with the team to address performance issues and drive continuous improvement.
Success will be measured by exceeding client satisfaction score targets.
To succeed, you will utilize strong networking skills within an organization, demonstrate oversight of processes, navigate effectively, hold others accountable to client commitments, manage client expectations, and operate autonomously in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 5 years of work experience, including at least 3 years in healthcare or in an account management or client services role.
- Minimum of 3 years in a client‑facing role within the healthcare industry.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
- PBM experience strongly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Sound judgment and project planning capabilities.
- Proactive identification of solutions to enhance client delivery and operational efficiency.
- Leadership and teamwork across departments, including leading technical and non‑technical projects.
- Strong organizational, time‑management, reporting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with high demand and limited guidance on complex issues and accounts.
- Demonstrated ability to present effectively to clients, C‑Suite executives, and senior leadership.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
