CVS Health is seeking a strategic, execution-focused leader to provide cross‑functional delivery support and risk management expertise for a high‑impact transformation initiative aimed at eliminating financial leakage across the PBM landscape. This role supports the Connected PBM Ecosystem – a multi‑workstream program integrating people, process, and technology to optimize enterprise value. It offers exposure to each aspect of the PBM; you will leverage deep PBM client and business acumen to guide the development and maintenance of solutions.

The role requires strong communication and influencing skills and the ability to align with strategic partners throughout the business to support our most complex clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiative Leadership & Execution
    • Support the Solution Owner of a complex, matrixed workstream, partnering closely with cross‑functional leaders and serving as the vice of the supporting cross‑functional business and DDAT team.
    • Support the design, build, and launch of the workstream features and supporting API, ensuring alignment with PBM business needs and client expectations.
    • Serve as a secondary business voice in shaping requirements, prioritizing features, and driving delivery timelines.
    • Foster collaboration among business, technology, product, and process engineering teams.
  • Business & Client Acumen
    • Bring deep understanding of PBM processes, client events, and the operational realities of the PBM business.
    • Anticipate and address client strategy, pricing strategy, regulatory, and compliance requirements throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Operational Excellence & Future Ownership
    • Support the creation of processes and performance metrics to ensure the workstream delivers on its intended value.
    • Develop and maintain documentation, governance, and change management plans to support sustainable adoption.
    • Guide maintenance, future enhancements, roadmap planning, and integration of evolving PBM business strategy and technology needs.
    • Own ongoing stakeholder engagement, issue resolution, budget management and performance monitoring.
    • Clear bias for action to iterate and deliver value while aligning to the north star vision.
    • Bring a consultative perspective and recommendations to department leaders with an eye toward how digital transformations may require them to adjust their business models.
    • Enable data‑led decision making by leveraging existing data, creating new metrics where necessary and ensuring we activate the data to inform and serve our customers and business.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in PBM, healthcare, or financial services.
  • 5+ years of experience with CVS Health systems, PBM financial structures, and enterprise data platforms.
  • Preferred:
    • Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise‑scale transformation programs or business architecture initiatives in a matrixed environment.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complexity into actionable insights.
    • Excellent communication, executive presence, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
    • Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; comparable work experience may be considered.
Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is: $75,400.00 – $. The base salary will depend on experience, education, geography and other factors. The position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short‑term incentive program and an equity award program.
