Firm Foundation Youth Homes is a community of family-centered homes in Arizona providing care for foster children. Our dedicated staff work alongside a compassionate model of care to address the challenges these children have faced, with the aim of countering the negative effects of their past. This is a part-time, on-site role located in Mesa, AZ for a Youth Support Aide at Firm Foundation Youth Homes. The Youth Support Aide will be responsible for providing daily care and supervision to children in the program, ensuring their safety and well-being. Responsibilities include assisting with daily routines, creating a supportive environment, coordinating recreational and educational activities, maintaining records, and collaborating with team members to implement individualized care plans for each child.

• Experience in working with youth, particularly those with a history of trauma, abuse, or neglect
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to observe, document, and report on behavior and progress
• Effective supervision and organizational skills, with attention to detail
• Flexibility and adaptability in a team-oriented environment
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care approaches is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in social work, child development, or related field are a bonus
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a background check
