Engineer Technician in Training

We are looking for an Engineer Technician in Training to join our Operations team on our project in Marietta, GA. This is a full-time position.

• Assist Field Engineers in operating robotic total station instruments, and auto level and other surveying instruments.
• Assist with establishing building control, setting markers, lines, corners, elevations, grades, alignments, angles, positions, and distances.
• Maintain total station, field book, survey equipment and tools.
• Provide primary support to our field supervision and demonstrate ownership of assigned tasks, maintain professionalism, use critical thinking to solve issues and lead team to complete daily tasks at jobsite.

• Ideal candidates have 6 months to 1 year of experience, can read construction drawings and have training in construction safety protocols (e.g. OSHA 10, fall protection, mobile elevated platform, boom and scissor).
• Must be agile and mobile, remain alert, be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, use hands to reach, handle and manipulate objects, and climb up/down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects.
• Work on uneven surfaces/heights, be able to read/write, and can see & hear well either naturally or with correction.
• Must be able to lift and carry materials weighing 50-100 lbs., 75% of the time.

• Individuals must be able to work in an OSHA compliant safety environment.
• Must be able to work outside.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekend hours.
• Punctuality and promptness are required every day.
