Concrete Foreman

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Concrete Foreman to lead concrete operations on a major construction project. This role is ideal for a skilled concrete professional who brings strong leadership abilities, extensive hands-on experience, and a commitment to delivering exceptional quality, safety, and productivity on every phase of the job.

As a Concrete Foreman, you will oversee critical concrete activities, including form setting, concrete placement, and finishing, while ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest industry standards. Your expertise will play a key role in the successful execution of complex vertical concrete construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise daily concrete operations on active construction sites.
  • Coordinate and perform concrete placement, form setting, and finishing activities.
  • Ensure concrete is poured accurately and according to project specifications.
  • Perform and oversee high-quality concrete finishing using trowels and other specialized tools.
  • Monitor workmanship to ensure exceptional quality, consistency, and compliance with project requirements.
  • Review work progress and proactively address challenges to maintain project schedules.
  • Enforce safety protocols and maintain compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies.
  • Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and construction crews to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Train, mentor, and support crew members while fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Concrete Finisher with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Extensive experience in concrete finishing and vertical concrete construction.
  • Strong knowledge of concrete placement, formwork systems, finishing techniques, and industry best practices.
  • OSHA 10 Certification required.
  • Proven ability to lead crews and maintain productivity in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
  • Ability to read and follow project specifications and construction plans.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous foreman or crew leadership experience.
  • Experience working on commercial, industrial, or large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of scheduling, quality control, and jobsite coordination.
  • Ability to identify potential issues and implement effective solutions in the field.
Work Environment

This position is based at the MSA Data Center and involves both indoor and outdoor construction work. Candidates must be comfortable working in varying weather conditions, including high temperatures, and be physically capable of performing demanding construction activities.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Occasional Saturday work as project needs require

Candidates must be able to successfully complete all required assessments and pre-employment screening requirements.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mesa, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $32.00/hr.
