The Opportunity

Are you a detail-oriented problem solver with a passion for complex projects? We’re seeking a Project Controls Specialist to play a key role in ensuring the success of some of the most sophisticated, high-stakes construction projects in the country. You’ll work alongside industry leaders, leveraging your expertise in scheduling, coordination, and project controls to keep timelines on track, mitigate risks, and drive results

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the schedule – Develop, maintain, and monitor project timelines to ensure seamless execution.
  • Be the go-to expert – Review construction drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Solve problems before they happen – Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to identify and resolve scheduling conflicts proactively.
  • Keep projects on track – Support procurement efforts and track material deliveries to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Lead with insight – Participate in project meetings, providing critical input and documentation.
  • Keep stakeholders informed – Prepare and distribute weekly progress reports that highlight key updates and milestones.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in mission-critical construction projects (data centers, industrial facilities, or similar high-complexity environments).
  • Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, drawing reviews, and subcontractor coordination
    .
  • Proficiency in scheduling software using Primavera P6
    .
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
    —you know how to anticipate challenges and create solutions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment where every detail matters.
  • PMP or PSP certification preferred (but not required—we value experience and expertise).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
