About the role

The Regional Safety Manager provides safety leadership across industrial and mechanical construction projects throughout an assigned region. You’ll oversee safety performance, compliance, risk management, and safety personnel while partnering with project leadership to maintain a strong safety culture across multiple jobsites.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
  • Lead regional safety programs, policies, and initiatives
  • Oversee Safety Supervisors and Safety Coordinators across the region
  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
  • Monitor high‑risk activities and ensure appropriate safety planning
  • Lead and oversee significant incident investigations and corrective actions
  • Ensure OSHA, ANSI, company, and project safety requirements are met
  • Coordinate safety training, orientations, and emergency preparedness
  • Monitor regional safety performance, trends, and compliance
  • Partner with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field leadership
  • Track corrective actions and address recurring or significant safety concerns
  • Provide safety performance updates and recommendations to the Director of Safety
  • Exercise Stop Work authority when serious safety risks are identified
  • Drive continuous improvement across regional safety operations
What You’ll Bring
  • 7+ years of construction, industrial, or environmental health and safety experience
  • 3+ years of safety leadership or regional management experience
  • Experience supervising, mentoring, and developing safety professionals
  • OSHA 30‑Hour Construction required
  • CSHO, CSP, ASP, CHST, OSHA 500, or comparable credentials preferred
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, and construction safety requirements
  • Experience with safety audits, incident investigations, risk assessments, and corrective actions
What You’ll Bring
  • 7+ years of construction, industrial, or environmental health and safety experience
  • 3+ years of safety leadership or regional management experience
  • Experience supervising, mentoring, and developing safety professionals

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly between assigned jobsites
