Desert Paddleboards/ Blue Wave Experiences creates unique wellness and adventure experiences centered around water. These experiences range from floating sound baths to paddleboard yoga and group events designed to help people relax, connect, and enhance their well-being without embracing “performative wellness.” Partnering with resorts, cities, and organizations, Desert Paddleboards aims to bring water-based wellness practices into everyday life, combining elements of wellness, adventure, and community.

This is a on-site role for a Musician based in Metropolitan Phoenix,AZ. This is a per event position. The Musician will contribute to creating ambient and immersive soundscapes for experiences such as floating sound baths, paddleboard yoga, and other wellness events. Duties include performing live music, collaborating with event coordinators, and tailoring performances to the environment and event theme. The role requires a dedication to enhancing the wellness and relaxation of participants through music and a strong sense of professionalism when interacting with clients and team members.

• Proficiency in playing one or more musical instruments and live performance experience
• Familiarity with creating ambient, meditative, or relaxing soundscapes; knowledge of sound equipment is a plus
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with a diverse team and event partners
• Adaptability and creativity to tailor performances to fit the unique themes or moods of events
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to work in outdoor settings and in proximity to water; comfortability with water-based activities
• Experience in wellness-focused or community-based events is a plus
