Olive Ave Jewelry is the original sentimental jewelry company. We create pieces that hold real meaning, from engagement collections to everyday sentimental pieces, and we're looking for someone who can bring that story to life on Tik Tok.

We're looking for a creative, trend-savvy Social Media Intern to help bring Olive Ave Jewelry's Tik Tok presence to life through engaging, authentic short-form video content.

You'll work closely with our creative team to brainstorm, film, edit, and publish content that connects with our audience, showcases our jewelry, and brings our brand personality to life.

This is a hands-on role for someone who loves creating content, understands what makes a video worth watching, and is excited to experiment with new ideas.

You'll spend your time both behind the camera and in the edit, creating everything from beautiful product videos to relatable, personality-driven content featuring our team.

This position is ideal for someone who loves creating content, isn't afraid to jump in front of the camera, and enjoys collaborating with a team to turn everyday moments into engaging videos.

• Film, edit, and publish Tik Tok videos that align with our brand voice, content strategy, and current trends.
• Create engaging product-focused videos showcasing engagement rings, everyday jewelry, new collections, and more.
• Film behind-the-scenes content, coworker interviews, trending formats, and relatable lifestyle videos.
• Assist with recurring content series and other social video formats.
• Plan and execute batch filming sessions to create a consistent pipeline of content for upcoming posts, launches, and campaigns.
• Collaborate with team members to film content, direct simple on-camera moments, and bring creative concepts to life.
• Edit videos with strong hooks, intentional pacing, engaging text overlays, and relevant audio.

• Research emerging Tik Tok trends, sounds, and video formats, identifying opportunities that feel authentic to Olive Ave.
• Brainstorm and pitch fresh content ideas based on trends, audience interests, and brand priorities.
• Help turn existing content concepts into finished videos with minimal direction.
• Experiment with different hooks, storytelling approaches, and editing styles to understand what resonates with our audience.

• Assist with scheduling, publishing, and maintaining a consistent Tik Tok posting schedule.
• Engage with our Tik Tok community by responding to comments, answering questions, and helping connect customers with relevant products.
• Organize video footage, content assets, and completed edits for future use.
• Monitor content performance, identify standout videos, and share observations about what's working.
• Support content creation for collection launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
• Help repurpose content for Instagram Reels and other social platforms as needed.

• A genuine understanding of Tik Tok culture, current trends, and what makes content engaging.
  Strong video editing skills (Cap Cut, Premiere Pro, or similar)
• Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Photoshop, or similar)
• Experience filming and editing short-form videos, with a strong understanding of Tik Tok's native editing tools, trending audio, text placement, and platform-specific best practices.
• Strong creative instincts for visual storytelling, hooks, pacing, and sound selection.
• Comfortable being on camera, directing others, and collaborating with coworkers to create content.
• An eye for product-focused filming, lighting, composition, and visual details.
• Someone who takes initiative, brings new ideas to the table, and can execute projects independently.
• Organized, reliable, and comfortable managing multiple content projects and posting deadlines.
• A willingness to experiment, receive feedback, and adapt based on content performance.
