About the Role

Benefits is one of Rippling's largest and most important product categories. The Benefits Operations team plays a key role in enrolling companies in the right benefits, managing tens of thousands of enrollments each year.

Rippling is seeking a Support Associate to resolve process and system issues, root cause problems, and contribute to solutions that prevent ongoing impact to benefits and coverage. This role will collaborate with customers, vendors, carriers and internal stakeholders, and will significantly influence the success of Rippling’s Benefits platform.

What You’ll Do
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, insurance carriers, and internal partners while owning end‑to‑end resolution of benefits and enrollment issues.
  • Root cause complex issues and collaborate with R&D and other stakeholders to define and implement process and automation enhancements to improve the customer experience.
  • Communicate with stakeholders throughout the duration of assigned projects.
  • Manage complex escalations and issues.
You Should Have
  • 1–3 years of experience in a customer‑facing operational role, such as implementation, support, or operations with US‑based insurance and benefits experience required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with excellent attention to detail, time management, and execution.
  • Strong problem‑solving, research and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong desire to learn about subject matter and new processes surrounding the work.
  • Prior experience at a SaaS/start‑up company preferred.
  • Experience using SFDC or other similar support‑ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk).
  • Experience with Jira.
Nice to Have
  • 1+ years experience in a customer‑facing position within the HCM or IT space (HR, Payroll, Benefits, Identity Management, Device Management, etc.).
Salary Information

$17 – $28 hourly wage (US Tier
3)
