Position Summary
As a Order Fulfillment Coordinator, you play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of customer orders. This multifaceted position encompasses various critical responsibilities aimed at enhancing the customer experience and optimizing the order processing workflow. Your dedication to providing exceptional customer service, meticulous attention to detail, adept multi-tasking abilities, sense of urgency and unwavering professionalism are paramount to the success of this role.
Essential Functions
- Order Coordination and Customer Service: You will receive and review orders from the sales team and proactively communicate with all relevant stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely order processing. As a central point of contact, you will provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and keeping stakeholders informed about their orders.
- Inventory Management: You will maintain and manage finished goods inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels to fulfill customer orders promptly. Your attention to detail is critical to maintaining accurate records and fulfilling orders promptly.
- Order Entry and Processing: Accurate input of sales orders into specialized software is essential. You will manage the order lifecycle from entry to fulfillment, ensuring precision and efficiency.
- Order Picking and Packaging: Your role includes executing order picking and packaging operations with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that orders are accurately assembled, securely packed, and prepared for shipping. Additionally, you will take responsibility for timely drop-offs of last-minute orders to Fed Ex drop-off locations when orders are completed after the scheduled Fed Ex pickup.
- Communication Hub: A core responsibility is to act as a central point of contact for the sales team, providing timely updates on order status, delivery schedules, and addressing any potential delays.
- Issue Resolution: Your adept problem-solving abilities will be essential for troubleshooting and efficiently resolving shipping and inventory-related issues. Your professionalism in handling challenges is key to maintaining the efficiency and integrity of the order fulfillment process.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
High school diploma or G.E.D. required
Experience
Proven experience in order processing, inventory management, or a related field.

- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail to maintain accurate records and fulfill orders promptly.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with sales teams, customers, and addressing issues.
- Proficiency in using order management and shipping software.

- Commitment to maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and professionalism in all interactions.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to remain stationary and operate a computer and other office equipment for extended periods of time.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, video conference, and email.
- Ability to frequently move throughout office, warehouse, and shipping areas to coordinate order fulfillment activities.
- Ability to regularly handle, inspect, organize, package, and prepare products and shipping materials for distribution.
- Ability to frequently reach, grasp, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift items associated with order picking and packaging activities.
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry packages, products, and shipping materials weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to maintain visual acuity to accurately review orders, inventory records, shipping documents, labels, and computer screens.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment and shipping-related tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Ability to occasionally travel locally to deliver time-sensitive shipments to carrier drop-off locations or other business-related destinations.
