The Pediatric Critical Careteam with Banner Children's Specialists is currently seeking a per-diem board eligible/board certified Pediatric Intensivist to join our team. Our critical care specialists provide coverage for a 24-bed PICU with ECMO capability, pediatric trauma, congenital heart services, and an overall admission volume of 1300 per year.
Location: Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, AZ
Job Detail- Per Diem Shift coverage - no minimum shift requirements
- Average daily census is 12 with 24 beds
- 12-hour shifts- days and nights are shared (flexibility in how shifts are negotiated and scheduled)
- Current staff consists of 7 Physicians and 1 NP
- BC/BE in Pediatric Critical Care
- AZ license & DEA or the ability to obtain
- Strong clinical skills and reputation for strong interprofessional communication
- Malpractice with Tail Coverage
