We are seeking a licensed psychiatrist (MD/DO) for a part-time, contract role as a VA Disability Examiner.
Responsibilities- Conduct one-time in-person assessments for Veteran disability claims, focusing on non-treatment exams related to mental health disabilities.
- Receive exclusive live training on completing charting and documentation efficiently.
- Appointments are scheduled in advance and are flexible to fit your schedule.
- No ongoing care or prescribing involved; the process typically takes 30 minutes to an hour.
- Work may be at designated practice locations or your approved location.
- Participation in a paid training conference in Oceanside, CA, is required.
Requirements include a current medical license and proximity to Yuma, AZ (50-100 miles). The role offers flexible hours and pay rates between $200-$400 per hour.
ImportantApplicants should be able to attend the training in April 2026, with travel expenses paid. A doctorate is preferred.
