Junior Varsity Head Wrestling Coach

American Leadership Academy is now accepting applications for a Men's and Women's Junior Varsity Head Wrestling Coach at our West Foothills High School campus. Candidates must possess, or be willing to obtain, a valid Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card.

• Make specific requests for equipment and supplies with help from the Assistant Coach. Assign priority based on safety, need and cost.
• Manage care and distribution of equipment and supplies.
• Attend all meetings held by the Athletic Director and the League Chairperson.
• Establish good public relations with parents, teachers, community, and the news media.
• Report contest results to the Athletic Director.
• Verify all practice/game fields are safe for players and spectators.
• Have a well‑developed coaching philosophy.
• Have a “Plan for Success” that outlines expectations and discipline for the program.
• Develop a year‑round action plan for maximizing the potential of each athlete.
• Other duties as assigned, including any pre or post‑season responsibilities.

• Valid AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance card

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Previous experience as Coach
• Previous classroom teaching experience
