Substitute Cosmetology Teacher

Applications are being accepted for the position of Substitute Cosmetology Teacher for our 1601 W. Main Street, Mesa AZ 85201 campus location.

A cosmetology instructor teaches a wide range of beauty industry skills while focusing heavily on practical demonstrations and hands‑on training while ensuring students meet state licensing requirements and are prepared for professional careers in the beauty field. Other responsibilities include developing lesson plans, evaluating student progress, administering exams and ensuring a safe learning environment. Must stay updated with license requirements, industry trends and beauty techniques.

$25.00/ Hr

• Valid Arizona Board of Cosmetology Instructor's License (Required Prior to Scheduling Interview)
• Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (Required by 1st day of employment)
• Proof of Measles, Mumps and Rubella immunization
• Ability to obtain an Arizona Department of Education Substitute or Career & Technical Education (CTE) Certification in the area of Industrial and Emerging Technologies https://(Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). (Required by 1st day of employment)
