Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Oversees the collection and progress of annual Federal Program compliance tasks for each campus across multiple States, under supervision of Federal Programs Director. Includes the assistance with annual stakeholder meetings and annual Parent Compact distribution.
* Prepares requisitions, proposals, and purchase orders for Federal grant funds.
* Prepares spreadsheets, surveys, Google Drive documents, and presentations for grant related items. Coordinates survey analysis and dissemination of data to campus leaders for use in planning.
* Coordinates with campuses on annual Comprehensive Needs Assessment timelines, procedures, and compliance requirements. Serves on Comprehensive Needs Committees as needed.
* Assists campuses with Parent Engagement events, proposals, and meetings.
* Assists the McKinney Vento, Migrant & Foster Family Coordinator and works with the Federal Programs Director to identify and appropriately serve the needs of eligible students (supplies, transportation, family outreach, campus coordination of resources).
* Assists with annual evaluation and revision of campus' Title I School wide Plans, Targeted Assistance Plans, Parent Engagement Policy, and other applicable ESSA based policies and procedures.
* Confers with school administration on curriculum, coordination with project requirements and program administration.
* Communicates, collaborates and coordinates with teachers, administrators, families, or community agencies and groups, regarding program questions, suggestions, concerns and/or compliance issues.
* Researches and coordinates appropriate professional development activities for District and Site level staff members.
* Assists with developing and implementing parental/family engagement activities for Title I schools.
* Monitors the evaluation of each Federal program and initiates program improvement strategies when necessary.
* Attends appropriate meetings, conferences, professional development opportunities related to the state/federal programs.
* Assists in the development of administrative guidelines.
* Assists in the development of policies involving federal programs.
* Provide accurate and timely input of all required data for program compliance.
* Review and revise applicable program handbooks and forms to ensure compliance.
* Establish communication systems that keep all parties well informed.
* Provide on-going monitoring and annual self-assessment of program effectiveness and correction of any areas of deficiency.
* Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
* Strong understanding of federal regulations for education and the management of federal funds.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data management and reporting.
* Strong written communication skills, including the ability to write clear, concise grant proposals and compliance reports.
* Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.
* Attention to detail in managing documentation and financial records related to federal funding.
* Problem-solving skills and the ability to assess and resolve compliance issues.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Education, Public Administration, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field
* BIB Background check
* 2+ years of experience in grant writing, fund management, or working with federal education programs.
* Experience working with federal and state compliance regulations related to educational programs such as Title I, II, III, IV, RLIS, IDEA, and ESSA guidance.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Master's degree in Education, Public Administration, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field
* 3-5 years of experience in federal grant management, particularly in K-12 education, including program implementation, evaluation, and reporting
* Experience with budget management for federal funds, including tracking expenditures and preparing financial reports
