Applications are being accepted for the position of Substitute Cosmetology Teacher for our 1601 W. Main Street, Mesa AZ 85201 campus location.
Job Summary: A cosmetology instructor teaches a wide range of beauty industry skills while focusing on practical demonstrations and hands-on training, ensuring students meet state licensing requirements and are prepared for professional careers in the beauty field. Responsibilities include developing lesson plans, evaluating student progress, administering exams, and ensuring a safe learning environment. Must stay updated with license requirements, industry trends and beauty techniques.
Salary: $25.00/Hr
Qualifications- Valid Arizona Board of Cosmetology Instructor's License (Required Prior to Scheduling Interview)
- Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (Required by 1st day of employment)
- Proof of Measles, Mumps and Rubella immunization
- Ability to obtain an Arizona Department of Education Substitute or Career & Technical Education (CTE) Certification in the area of Industrial and Emerging Technologies (Required by 1st day of employment) https://(Use the "Apply for this Job" box below)./certificates
