Applications are being accepted for the position of School Counselor for our Main Street Campus (1601 W Main St, Mesa AZ 85201). The hours for this position are M-F 7:30 a.m.
-4:00 p.m.
Under general supervision, the counselor prepares students for EVIT completion and success through direct and indirect student services. Counselors will work on the emotional and educational success of all students. Providing a comprehensive school counseling program, that prepares students for life after EVIT.
Job Type: Full Time Exempt, 10 Month Calendar
Salary: $62,513.00 - $84,636.00 Placement in the range will be based on a combination of education, industry related experience, teaching experience, and certification.

- Master's degree in counseling, psychology, education, or a related field and three years of high school or post-secondary counseling experience
- Demonstrated experience in independently developing and managing student intervention strategies and programs.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to interpret data, evaluate student needs, and implement targeted support services.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office and student information systems such as Focus and Canvas.
- Valid Arizona Department of Education School Counselor Certification
- Level 1 IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Proof of immunization against or immunity to measles and rubella if born after January 1, 1957
- Previous experience working in a school setting
- Knowledge of ASCA Mindset and Behaviors for Student Success
- Experience in college & career readiness including the knowledge of academic, social emotional and college & career development.
