Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time school psychologist opportunity is available for the academic year, based in the Phoenix area with assignments primarily in Mesa, AZ. This position supports a dynamic public school district and includes travel between multiple school sites. Start date aligns with the school calendar, from early August 2026 through late May 2027.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for a caseload averaging 60 students.
- Manage approximately 12 evaluations per day using pen-and-paper methods.
- Support students across various grade levels and school settings, including elementary and high schools.
- Collaborate with school staff utilizing Google Suite and Synergy platforms for communication and documentation.
- Work independently to meet district needs with minimal supervision to ensure seamless integration into the school environment.
Qualifications and
Experience:
- Active Arizona Department of Education certification as a School Psychologist.
- Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card.
- Familiarity with Google Suite and Synergy software highly desired.
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to quickly adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, multi-site assignment.
- Previous experience working in school settings preferred; new professionals with 0-2 years of experience are welcome to apply.
Assignment Details:
- Positions available range from part-time (3-5 days per week) to full-time assignments, depending on the site.
- Possible placements include several elementary schools, a private day placement, and a high school.
- Caseloads and hours vary by site to accommodate district needs.
