Applications are being accepted to build a qualified candidate pool for anticipated Welding Instructor openings for the 2026/2027 school year at our 1601 W. Main Street, Mesa, AZ 85201 campus.

Under general supervision, the Welding teacher will prepare students to acquire welding techniques and be product verified with weldment testing. Students will develop a working knowledge of blueprint reading and the welding processes for SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW with the use of thermal cutting equipment. Students will learn about the tools and equipment for the welding trade.

Salary: $50,651.00 – $84,636.03. Placement in the range will be based on a combination of education, industry‑related experience, teaching experience, and certification.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a welder
• Welding instructor must hold an AWS certification
• Valid Level 1 IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card through Arizona Department of Public Safety
• Proof of immunization against or immunity to measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) if born after January 1, 1957
