ATSU - Student Life Coordinator - Arizona

DescriptionA.T. Still University (ATSU) is seeking a full-time Student Life Coordinator on the Mesa, Arizona campus. The role involves facilitating co-curricular programming, interprofessional experiences, and student leadership opportunities to foster student development. The Coordinator will assist in developing and facilitating events, workshops, and seminars that complement classroom instruction and help students enhance leadership skills in and outside of the classroom.
Duties & Responsibilities- Support the planning and execution of campus-wide events, including new student orientation, white coat ceremonies, commencement ceremonies, recruitment fairs, banquets, pop‑ups, and ATSU’s annual Founder's Day.
- Collaborate with the Director of Student Life to provide support to student leaders and student organizations, adhering to University policy, risk management, and best practices for ATSU‑recognized student organizations.
- Support registered student organizations on the Arizona and California campuses through ATSU’s co‑curricular software system, Engage.
- Coordinate digital and print communication for the Office of Student Life, including email, bi‑monthly publications, content management in Engage, digital screens, bulletin boards, forms, and informational materials.
- Manage and facilitate the usage of Student Life facilities and spaces, including storage areas on‑ and off‑campus and the Mother’s Nursing Suite.
- Provide purchasing support by liaising between Finance and Purchasing for routing contracts, purchase orders, check requests, and travel forms.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One to two years of related experience.
- Special events coordination experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of various computer systems/software such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
- Experience working with student organizations is desired.
- Candidates must be energetic, organized, detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, flexible, and capable of multitasking.
