STEM Educator for School-Year Field Trips (Per Diem)
OverviewUnited Skates of America, with over 50 years of experience in recreation and entertainment facility management, is seeking a STEM Educator to join our team for a few hours a week, primarily Monday - Friday from 9 AM to 12 PM, for STEM roller skating field trips. No teaching degree is required, but a love for kids, some science knowledge, and an energetic personality are a must.
This position is ideal for stay-at-home parents, educators on leave, college or graduate students pursuing an education degree, or substitute teaching staff seeking hands-on experience. The position is part-time, as needed, with mornings availability from 9 AM to 12 PM.

Responsibilities- Develop, refine, and present STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) lesson plans for students from kindergarten to high school.
- Conduct innovative, copyrighted STEM educational programs for groups ranging from 50 to 250 students, utilizing state-of-the-art audio and video technology.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Power Point
- Ability to relate STEM concepts to everyday life
- Experience in STEM fields is a plus
- Availability Monday to Friday during school hours (specific days and times vary by bookings)
- Reliable transportation
Compensation: $90 per lesson taught, plus a competitive hourly rate for lesson preparation. Position:
Part-time, as needed (must be available mornings from 9 AM to 12 PM).
