Responsibilities- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Adapt and modify curriculum materials to meet the needs of students.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, school staff, and parents to support student learning and development.
- Monitor and assess students' progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and supportive learning environment for all students.
- Participate in professional development and stay current with best practices in special education.
- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
- Strong understanding of special education laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators, administrators, and support staff.
- Experience working with students with a range of disabilities is preferred.
