Position Type: Adult Education Teacher / HVAC Instructor (Adult HVACR Instructor) – Part Time.

Under general supervision, the HVACR Instructor will prepare students to master the skills needed to become a certified Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration technician. You’ll train students to install, maintain, and repair home and business heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems.

Job Type: Part Time, Hourly, 10‑Month Calendar.
Start Date: July 14, 2026.
Hours: Monday to Thursday 3:00‑8:00 pm.

Salary: $34.16 – 54.00 per hour; placement is based on education, industry‑related experience, teaching experience, and certification.

Benefits: Mandatory participation in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS) with regular contributions (11.86% for retirement and 0.14% for Long‑Term Disability per pay period). EVIT matches the retirement contribution dollar for dollar.

• A minimum of 3 years of verifiable industry experience.
• EPA Certification.
• Level 1 IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (required by the first day of class).
• Proof of immunization against or immunity to measles and rubella if born after January 1, 1957.
