**** Position Overview
** AMS is seeking a
** 4th Grade Teacher
** to join the
** AMS Power Campus in Mesa
** and support scholars as they transition into upper elementary academic rigor.

The 4th Grade Teacher will help students develop advanced reading comprehension, structured writing skills, and multi-step mathematical reasoning, preparing them for middle school expectations.
** Key Responsibilities
**** Instruction & Student Achievement
*** Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction aligned with AMS curriculum frameworks.
* Support student growth in reading comprehension, writing development, and complex mathematical reasoning.
* Use data-driven practices to guide instruction and academic interventions.
** Classroom Culture & Student Development
*** Maintain a structured, respectful, and achievement-oriented classroom culture.
* Implement PBIS systems and reinforce positive student behaviors.
** Collaboration & Professional Growth
*** Collaborate with grade-level teams and instructional leaders to improve student outcomes.
* Participate in ongoing professional development and PLCs.
** Family Engagement
*** Maintain strong communication with families regarding student progress and learning goals.
** Minimum Qualifications
** Candidates must meet
** one of the following requirements**:
* Bachelor’s degree in Education or Elementary Education    OR
* Valid Arizona teaching certification    OR
* Minimum of
** three (3) years of K–12 teaching experience
** Additional requirements include:
* Strong classroom management and instructional planning skills
* IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
* Commitment to serving diverse student populations
