The College of Integrative Sciences and Arts (CISA) seeks a dynamic and collaborative Associate Director of Student Lifecycle Engagement to join the Academic Strategy and Student Experience Team (ASSET). The Associate Director will develop, coordinate, and advance college-wide engagement strategies that strengthen alumni connection, constituent engagement, career transition, development alignment, and long-term affiliation with CISA.

Serving as a thought partner and strategic connector, the Associate Director will collaborate across ASSET, School Directors, faculty leaders, development and alumni partners, and other university stakeholders to build a coordinated approach to student and alumni engagement. This position will help connect student experiences, alumni participation, employer relationships, philanthropic opportunities, and school-level priorities to strengthen student success, applied learning, career transition, and lifelong affiliation with CISA.

CISA is an interdisciplinary, multi-campus college with a strong emphasis on applied and experiential learning. As one of three liberal arts colleges at ASU, CISA offers foundational and professional education spanning the humanities, social and natural sciences, mathematics, and career-connected fields, equipping students with the knowledge and transferable skills needed to engage and contribute locally, nationally, and globally.

This position is based on the Polytechnic campus and requires travel to CISA's other ASU campus locations and surrounding communities to support meetings, events, partnerships, and college-wide engagement activities.

Essential Duties:
Leadership, Strategy, and Student Lifecycle Engagement
  • Serve as a thought partner to the Executive Director, School Directors, development partners, and college leadership in identifying opportunities for emerging alumni, philanthropic alignment, constituent engagement, and long-term affiliation with CISA.
  • Identify, strengthen, and lead strategic initiatives focused on later-stage student engagement, alumni mentoring, post-graduation connection, and career transition.
Partnership and Constituent Engagement
  • Collaborate with the Manager of Employer Engagement to connect employer and internship initiatives to broader lifecycle engagement, alumni mentoring, career transition, and constituent engagement strategies.
  • Map current CISA alumni engagement activity and opportunities to strengthen a coordinated college-wide strategy for alumni mentoring, career connection, participation, storytelling, and long-term engagement.
  • Coordinate alumni-related communications, events, partner stories, and engagement opportunities in collaboration with Marketing and Communications, SEET, development, employer engagement, and school partners.
Assessment, Reporting, and Continuous Improvement
  • Develop methods to track engagement activities and assess effectiveness of lifecycle engagement initiatives and recommend improvements.
  • Prepare regular updates for ASSET and college leadership on key activities, outcomes, opportunities, and emerging needs.
  • Identify gaps, trends, and opportunities across the student lifecycle and recommend strategies to improve coordination and impact.
Collaboration and Additional Responsibilities
  • Participate in departmental, college, and university-wide initiatives and meetings to represent the college’s financial interests and support integrated, collaborative outcomes.
  • Support additional projects, initiatives, and responsibilities as assigned.
