Job DescriptionThe Coordinator of Student Success and Engagement serves as the primary Student Success and Engagement representative for the Fulton Schools community at the Polytechnic campus. This position plays a key role in helping students build connection, belonging, leadership skills, and engagement throughout their academic journey.
The coordinator leads student engagement initiatives at the Polytechnic campus, with primary responsibility for the Fulton Peer Mentor Program, support and development of student organizations, and delivery of programs that enhance the student experience and strengthen students' connection to the Fulton community. The role also serves as the lead coordinator for Entrepreneurship and Innovation programming across the Fulton Schools, working collaboratively with faculty, staff, industry partners, and students to expand opportunities for innovation, entrepreneurship, and experiential learning.
As a member of the Student Success and Engagement team, the coordinator contributes to college-wide initiatives including Welcome Week, Family Weekend, student outreach campaigns, leadership programs, and other strategic priorities that support student success, engagement, and persistence to graduation. This role also supports essential duties within E2 Camp, a cornerstone retention initiative held in Prescott, Arizona during July and August annually, requiring approximately 10 days of travel and leadership participation (not consecutive).
Position Salary Range$52,000 - $58,000 per year; DOE.
Essential Duties – Student Engagement and Success- Serve as the primary Student Success and Engagement contact for students at the Polytechnic campus.
- Build relationships with students, faculty, staff, and campus partners to strengthen student connection, engagement, and belonging.
- Coordinate and deliver student engagement initiatives that support student success and community building.
- Lead the recruitment, training, supervision, and development of Fulton Peer Mentors at the Polytechnic campus.
- Coordinate peer mentor programming, outreach activities, and student transition initiatives.
- Support and advise student organizations at the Polytechnic campus, helping student leaders develop programs, events, and community-building activities.
- Partner with student leaders to strengthen involvement opportunities and enhance the co-curricular student experience.
- Coordinate Entrepreneurship and Innovation programming across the Fulton Schools, regardless of campus location.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, students, and external partners to promote innovation-focused opportunities and experiences.
- Coordinate workshops, programs, competitions, events, and related initiatives that support entrepreneurial thinking and student engagement.
- Support assessment and continuous improvement of Entrepreneurship and Innovation initiatives.
- Lead the planning and delivery of at least three major events requiring coordination with other Polytechnic campus staff and faculty.
- Support planning and implementation of E2 Camp, Welcome Week, Family Weekend, and other signature Fulton Schools programs.
