The Biology 201 and 202 Adjunct Instructor provides instruction to adult learners in Human Anatomy and Physiology I and II, including both lecture and laboratory components. The instructor is responsible for teaching the structure and function of the human body, emphasizing anatomical organization, physiological processes, and the interrelationship of systems. Instruction includes topics such as cells, tissues, integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, endocrine, cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, urinary, and reproductive systems.
The instructor designs and delivers engaging lessons aligned with approved course outcomes, integrates hands-on laboratory activities, and ensures a safe, well-maintained lab environment.
Responsibilities include preparing instructional materials, assessing student learning, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to EVIT policies and procedures.
SalarySalary: $6000.00 Per Session (4 Credit Class paid at $1500/ Credit)

Education and Experience- Master's degree in Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, or closely related field from an accredited institution.
- One (1) year of college-level teaching experience is required.
- A minimum of 18 graduate level credits in Biology or Anatomy & Physiology with a grade of "C" or higher.
- At least two (2) years of collegiate-level teaching experience.
- Experience teaching anatomy and physiology courses and related laboratory-based courses.
- Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy and physiology principles, laboratory techniques, and current trends in the biological sciences.
- Experience maintaining safe laboratory environments and complying with biosafety standards.
- Experience working with diverse adult learners and promoting student engagement and persistence.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Experience using Canvas, Google Classroom, and Exam Soft or similar learning management systems.
- Valid Arizona Department of Public Safety Identity Prints (IVP) Level 1 fingerprint card.
- Proof of immunization against or immunity to measles and rubella if born after January 1, 1957.
