Instructional Srvc Director - Assessment Director

The Assessment Director provides college-wide leadership for student learning outcomes assessment, academic program review, and related continuous improvement processes. The Director leads the collaborative development and implementation of a comprehensive approach to assessing student learning outcomes at the course, program, general education, and institutional levels, with a primary focus on supporting faculty-led assessment efforts.

Working within the Office of Academic Affairs and reporting to the Vice President of Academic Affairs, the Director provides leadership for college-wide assessment, academic program review, and continuous improvement efforts. In collaboration with faculty, academic affairs leaders, the Center for Teaching and Learning, department leads, and other college stakeholders, the Director develops and supports processes that use evidence to improve teaching and learning, strengthen academic programs, and advance institutional effectiveness.

The Director chairs the college Assessment Leadership Team, leads assessment work teams, including the Department and General Education Assessment Coordinators. Through collaboration, professional development, and ongoing consultation, the Director works to strengthen assessment practices and promote the meaningful use of assessment results for improvement.
