Field Service Engineer, Power Control Equipment

Location:

Mesa, AZ. In this role you support critical power facilities such as Data Centers, Telecom, and Healthcare, involving automatic transfer switches and power control systems.

• Service-oriented technician responsible for startup, modification, warranty, and emergency calls for automatic transfer switches.
• Provide technical support for field startups (standard and non-standard systems), warranty efforts, remedial repairs, and preventative maintenance contracts.
• Supervise and enforce compliance with all safety policies, procedures, guidelines, and laws.
• Conduct client communication in a highly customer-service oriented manner and negotiate any extra charges associated with work performed.
• Ensure all work and decisions comply with regulatory laws.
• Travel up to 80% of the time.

• High School Diploma / GED.
• 3+ years experience in field service engineering, electrical power support of critical facilities (data centers, airports, etc.) and automatic transfer switch testing.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints for power control, automation, and customer technical support.
• Familiarity with applicable codes and industry standards.
• Strong project management skills and ability to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Self‑directed and committed to customer satisfaction.
• Valid Driver's license in good standing.
• Authorized to work in the US with no need for sponsorship.

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Excellent customer service, time management, and follow‑up skills.
• Knowledge of power distribution, DC/AC, voltage circuit theory, and troubleshooting skills.

• Pay range: $56,000 - $96,000 plus travel and overtime.
