PositionBoeing Defense, Space & Security has an exciting opportunity for a Senior NDT Quality Test Specialist to join the Quality team in Mesa, AZ
.
- Advises on advanced technology in non-destructive instrumentation and inspection principles, processes and techniques.
- Guides implementation of advanced inspection or test techniques.
- Develops innovative test processes and equipment.
- Consults suppliers and customers to resolve technical issues involving tests, processes and equipment.
- Develops principles and methods for analyzing test, inspection or statistical data.
- Consults on corrective action to resolve process or product anomalies.
- Participates on enterprise and industry teams to influence the standardization and regulation of training and certification requirements.
- Currently hold or previously held (last 18 months) NAS
410 Certified Level III in Ultrasonic (UT) or Radiographic (RT) method - More than 5 years of experience working with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- More than 5 years of experience in NDI/NDT
- More than 3 years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, technical publications and/or specifications
- Experience in aerospace manufacturing or manufacturing support
- Level 5:
More than 10 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience - Active U.S. Security Clearance
- Current or recently held (in the last 18 months) NAS
410 Certified Level III in one or more NDT methods (RT, ET, PT, MT) - More than 3 years of experience with aerospace NDT
- More than 3 years of experience performing NDT on composite parts
- Experience working with AS9100 and/or similar QMS standard
