As part of our rapid U.S. expansion, XNRGY is seeking a highly experienced Facilities & Construction Project Manager to own the infrastructure, utilities, and building systems that will bring production to life. In this role, you will work at the intersection of facilities engineering and manufacturing operations, ensuring the plant layout, MEP systems, and utility installations are optimized for cutting‑edge equipment and future growth.
This is a hands‑on, greenfield opportunity where your expertise will directly shape our facility and enable operational excellence from day one.
- Act as the primary liaison between construction teams, utilities implementation groups, and manufacturing engineering to ensure infrastructure is delivered to production requirements.
- Develop and maintain plant layouts covering equipment placement, material flow, personnel flow, and future capacity considerations.
- Design and coordinate utility systems including piping, electrical distribution, compressed air, chilled water, exhaust, and other facility services required for manufacturing assets.
- Create detailed drawings and documentation for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems supporting new equipment installations.
- Lead installation planning and execution for utilities and facility modifications, ensuring readiness for equipment arrival and commissioning.
- Review equipment specifications to determine facility impacts, utility loads, and required infrastructure upgrades.
- Manage contractors and vendors during construction, installation, and commissioning activities, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and schedule expectations.
- Conduct site assessments to validate as built conditions, identify constraints, and propose improvements.
- Support project budgeting and scheduling for facility and utility scopes.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and internal engineering standards.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred). - Experience
: 10+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing or plant engineering, with strong expertise in building services integration, MEP systems, and HVAC/thermal management manufacturing or related custom equipment for commercial/industrial facilities. - Proven leadership in Design for Manufacturing/Installation, New Product Introduction (NPI), and processes supporting field integration/commissioning in mission‑critical environments.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis, statistical tools, root cause methods, and data‑driven decisions.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to coordinate with engineering, production, quality, supply chain, field services, and external partners (e.g., contractors, MEP consultants).
- Ability to manage multiple projects, adapt to changing priorities, and excel in a fast‑growing, entrepreneurial setting.
- Proficiency in CAD/BIM software (e.g., Solid Works, Revit, AutoCAD), simulation tools, and familiarity with building codes, controls protocols (BACnet, Modbus), lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Industry 4.0 concepts.
