MP&P Engineer Security Clearance

Position: MP&P Engineer 3 with Security Clearance
Chipton-Ross is seeking an MP&P Engineer 3 for a contract opportunity in Mesa, AZ. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)

* Ensure the efficient production of our world-class aerospace products, including advanced platforms for our Air Proprietary programs POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
* Apply chemistry, physics, and material science to develop and qualify composite materials and processing methods

* Provide technical evaluation and material and process support to composite part fabrication

* Perform root-cause investigations and implement corrective & preventive actions for material and process issues

* Create and execute test plans, write reports and input to specifications for materials, tools, and processes

* Qualify and approve equipment, materials and processes

* Guide material testing in the Materials & Processes Laboratory

* Coordinate with other disciplines such as Design Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, and Procurement

* Travel to suppliers as needed

* Integrate new technologies and promote standardization across product lines

* Manage test/audit programs, ensure regulatory and contractual compliance, and incorporate EHS, LEAN, and Quality principles into your work REQUIRED EDUCATION Accredited Bachelor of Science degree from a course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science. (And a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years' experience or a Master's degree WORK HOURS Full-Time 9/80 work schedule 2nd Shift ADDITIONAL Applicants responding to this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information.
