Introduction

The Boeing Company is seeking a motivated, collaborative associate or experienced Composites M&P (Materials and Processes) Engineer to join our Composite Materials Fabrication Site in Mesa, Arizona. Are you a hands-on materials and processes engineer who thrives at the intersection of lab, factory, and design? Required

Skills & Qualifications (Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered)
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
  • Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
  • Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.
  • Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry

Preferred

Skills & Qualifications (Nice-to-have skills but are not required)
  • 1+ years working with composites, elastomers, and associated processing techniques.
  • Hands-on lab experience with polymer chemistry analytical techniques.
  • Experience with composite failure modes (structural and nonstructural) and failure analysis.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities (key tasks and expectations for the role)
  • Work in a casual, professional environment with multi-disciplinary engineering teams who deliver cutting edge aerospace solutions.
  • Split your time between office, lab, and production floor—see ideas move from test to flight.
  • Apply chemistry, physics, and material science to develop and qualify composite materials and processing methods.
