Composites M&P (Materials and Processes) Engineer

The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Composites M&P Engineer for a prominent client. This position is located in Mesa, AZ.

• Location: Mesa, AZ (100% Onsite)
• Payrate: $69/hr W2
• Duration: 12 months contract – possible extension/FTE conversion based on performance & budget.
• Shift: 2nd Shift: 1pm to 10:30pm
• Travel: Very slight chance of domestic travel.

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science. (And a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years’ experience or a Master’s degree)

• 1+ years working with composites, elastomers, and associated processing techniques (Level 2 or 3 applies based on years of experience)
• Hands‑on lab experience with polymer chemistry analytical techniques
• Familiarity with materials such as epoxy, cyanate ester, bismaleimide, urethane, polyimide, reinforcements, and adhesives
• Experience with composite failure modes (structural and nonstructural) and failure analysis
• Experience in technical specifications, reports, and test plans
• Comfortable reading engineering drawings and using Microsoft Office
• Experience in creating and delivering technical presentations and briefings
• Ability to work in a collaborative team‑based environment
