- Develop and implement production and tooling methodologies.
- Identify and implement conceptual designs and maintain program architecture for build leads and manufacturing plans.
- Conduct producibility and variation analyses to ensure manufacturing process capability matches requirements.
- Assist in providing producibility information for project plans and document producibility best practices.
- Analyze design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions.
- Resolve technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost or schedule.
- Coordinate and implement new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts.
- Validate and ensure production readiness of solutions to complex problems.
- Implement lean principles and technologies.
- Leverage background and experience in Manufacturing Engineering Processes and Tools to improve the ME Function and Deliverables.
- Apply project management skills to manage cost, schedule, and quality of deliverables.
- Document and communicate ME best practices.
- Conduct complex producibility and variation analyses to ensure manufacturing process capability meets requirements.
- Resolve complex technical problems.
- Deploy company Lean Enterprise analysis methods.
- Demonstrate excellent teamwork and written/oral communication skills to collaborate with engineering disciplines, suppliers and customers.
- Exercise technical problem‑solving skills, including root cause analysis and corrective action.
- Bachelor of Science in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
- Working knowledge of ME processes and procedures including Manufacturing Execution System and Computer Aided Process Planning.
- 3+ years of experience with manufacturing engineering planning systems such as MESci and/or GOLD.
- 1+ year of experience in project management.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
- 7+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer.
- Strong understanding of BDS production program requirements, standards, and specifications.
- Proficiency in developing process plans (2D/3D) and standard operating procedures.
- Mentoring and training experience in ME processes.
- Experience in both assembly and fabrication environments, including electrical, structural, mechanical, systems, and functional test disciplines.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- The position is hybrid; candidates will work onsite at one of the listed locations as determined by the hiring team.
- The candidate must meet U.S. export‑control compliance requirements and be a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22C.F.R. §120.15.
- The role is for 1st shift (Day).
