Overview
RF Test Engineer for FCC and CE regulatory compliance is sought for COMPLIANCE TESTING LLC in Mesa, AZ. The role focuses on regulatory RF testing to ensure devices meet FCC, CE, and related standards for wireless and connected products. Onsite work in Arizona is required.
Responsibilities- Perform testing to regulatory standards on a wide variety of devices, with competence in RF testing, radiated and conducted emissions, and EMC/EMI practices.
- Support Technical Sales by validating test standards, generating test plans, and estimating project hours.
- Participate in ongoing quarterly technical trainings and oversee internal and external projects as needed.
- Troubleshoot failing devices and interact with clients throughout the testing process.
- Maintain accurate test data and records; answer general questions related to the Lab Scope and Certification.
- Collaborate with Lab Manager, Lab Supervisor, and the Technical Sales Team to ensure project success.
- Apply knowledge of FCC parts including 15b, 15c, 15e, 15.247, 22, 24, 27, 90 and related Canadian rules; familiarity with FCC parts 18, 30, 73, 74 & 87 and equivalents; understand EU RED and EMC Directives.
- Demonstrate awareness of industry associations (e.g., GCF, PTCRB, CTIA, Wi-Fi Alliance, BT SIG, LoRa Alliance) as relevant to testing activities.
- 2–4+ years of RF testing experience in a Regulatory TIC ISO 17025 test lab or equivalent environment, testing devices to FCC standards and rule parts.
- Eligibility to work in the United States or clear path to work within 30–60 days; H1B support is possible.
- Ability to work onsite at the Mesa, Arizona headquarters.
- High attention to detail and accuracy; strong verbal and written communication skills; customer-facing professionalism.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, Google Drive, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Calendly, and related tools.
- Strong integrity, ethics, and collaboration mindset; positive team player seeking a long-term opportunity.
- Salary based on skills and fit for multiple roles; range up to $150,000 per year depending on experience.
