Equipment Technician III

As an Equipment Technician III, you will serve as a senior technical resource, partnering with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to solve complex equipment challenges, drive reliability improvements, and support innovative solutions that help improve the lives of people living with diabetes. Where

You Come In
  • You will serve as the primary technical expert for assigned Test Lab equipment and systems.
  • You will independently troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, electronic modules, instrumentation, sensors, data acquisition systems, power distribution systems, and test equipment.
  • You will perform advanced root cause analysis of equipment failures and lead troubleshooting efforts for complex and recurring issues.
  • You will interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and system documentation to diagnose failures and implement effective corrective actions.
  • You will partner with Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, Quality, Reliability, and Operations teams to support equipment investigations and improvement projects.
  • You will lead equipment recovery efforts during critical downtime events and provide technical guidance to technicians and cross‑functional partners.
  • You will identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, maintainability, safety, and performance.
  • You will support equipment installation, commissioning, qualification, validation, and decommissioning activities.
  • You will develop, revise, and improve maintenance procedures, troubleshooting guides, equipment binders, and technical documentation.
  • You will analyze equipment performance data and maintenance history to identify trends and drive sustainable corrective actions.
  • You will support calibration activities and ensure compliance with maintenance schedules and regulatory requirements.
