Senior Hardware Engineer

Annual Salary: $150,000 - $180,000 per annum

An exciting Global leading engineering company located in Arizona (USA) specializing in the industries of Satellite and Space are now hiring a brand-new Senior Hardware Engineer to join the team and business during an exciting period of growth. The ideal Hardware Engineer would be Senior/Staff level, and company is looking for this person to be a technical lead on projects, be the go-to guy for anything hardware related.

The Senior/Staff Hardware Engineer will be working very cross functionally with FPGA/embedded/RF/etc.

The annual salary on offer for the successful Senior Hardware Engineer is $150,000 - $180,000 per annum. The Senior Hardware Engineer will need to be a USA Citizen

The successful Senior Hardware Engineer will take lead in the design, development, and documentation of hardware designs across the full product design Lifecyle for next generation Satellite and Space products and technologies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Equivalent
• 5+ years of industry experience
• Experienced in the full product design lifecycle
• PCB Design & Schematic Capture
• Experience using Altium, OrCAD, Cadence, Allegro
• Designs that integrate FPGAs and microprocessors
• Network interfaces – SPI, I2C, USB, UART, RS232/485, Ethernet, DDR, LPDDR, Flash, eMMC, PCIe, MIPI, Ser Des interfaces, ADCs, DACs
• Circuit Simulation tools - LTSpice or PSpice
• Board bring up and debugging - SIPI analysis and Power distribution
• Experience with EMC/EMI, CE Marking, sensors, power management, and signal/power integrity
• Knowledge of RF/ L-band design and layout - Bonus
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills
• Industry experience – Satellite, Space, Wireless technologies, SATCOM, Aerospace, Defence
