Position Overview
As a full‑time Branch Manager within PNC’s Phoenix South Region Branch Banking organization, you will be based in Mesa, AZ at the Fiesta District Branch (1325 W Southern Ave., Mesa, AZ 85202). PNC is an in‑office company that fosters collaboration and a supportive culture. You will lead all aspects of branch performance, drive revenue, build customer loyalty, and ensure operational excellence.
Responsibilities- Lead all aspects of branch performance, including revenue and customer loyalty.
- Drive business banking results through business development and community involvement.
- Collaborate with eco‑system partners to grow branch revenue and share‑of‑wallet.
- Manage risk, compliance, and regulatory guidelines, mitigating sales‑practice risk.
- Build and develop a high‑performing team via attraction, onboarding, coaching, and development.
- Utilize a branded sales process to achieve sales targets and customer loyalty.
- Coach staff on consultative selling to improve client financial well‑being.
- Leverage technology‑enabled interactions to provide solutions and advice‑oriented consultation.
- Resolve customer issues effectively, making banking easy for clients.
- Connect PNC initiatives to deliver a seamless omni‑channel experience.
- Drive employee experience, acquiring and retaining talent through effective onboarding and coaching.
- Ensure employees meet performance and activity expectations through ongoing performance management.
- Model PNC values by cultivating an inclusive workplace.
- Manage operational, human capital, reputational, and business risk.
- Minimum of 3+ years of related experience in branch banking or equivalent.
- Proficiency in banking, client counseling, and customer experience (CX).
- Strong people‑management, decision‑making, and proactive behavior skills.
- Knowledge of branch banking services, digital awareness, effective communication, and managing multiple priorities.
- Experience with sales management and goal achievement.
- Understanding of balance sheet and income statement fundamentals.
- No required degree; comparable combination of education, job‑specific certification(s), and experience is acceptable.
- Compliance with background checks as required by regulatory standards.
