Overview
Boeing Skill Bridge is a Department of Defense authorized program that provides military service members an internship opportunity across Boeing’s Business Units during the last 180days of active duty.

Service members of any rank, enlisted or officer, may apply to internships for entry‑to‑mid‑level positions. Senior levels are considered based on applicable industry and military transferable experience.
Participants are not compensated by Boeing while on active duty and continue to receive military compensation and benefits.
Key Responsibilities- Learn a role or career similar to your current job on active duty from Boeing’s statement‑of‑work perspective.
- Learn a Boeing role based on your chosen degree field (entrants may be required to demonstrate relevance to the selected job).
- Be prepared to learn and demonstrate the value your military experience brings to Boeing and your team.
- Served at least 180 continuous days on active duty.
- Within 12months of separation or retirement from the military.
- Able to start 180days prior to separation or retirement from active duty.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or demonstrated equivalency.
- +4years of relevant experience.
- Graduate degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Active Secret or TS/SCI clearance with polygraphing.
Temporary role: not to exceed 180days.
Export control compliance: a “USPerson” (USCitizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) is required.
Security clearance: does not require a clearance. The position is not safety‑sensitive.
Relocation: assistance is not a negotiable benefit. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Benefits / CompensationInterns do not receive compensation from Boeing while on active duty. Participants continue to receive military compensation and benefits during the internship period.
