The expected ENTRY pay range for this position based on experience and equity within the Judicial Branch is $25.57 to $33.75.This position is non-exempt under the FLSA.

800 Superior Court About the Position The Community Liaison supports timely coordination and communication between the Judicial Branch of Arizona in Maricopa County and external system partners, including the Arizona Department of Child Safety (DCS) and community service providers.

This position serves as a dedicated point of contact to strengthen collaboration, improve information sharing, and assist in resolving system barriers that impact court-involved children and families. The Community Liaison helps monitor case status, verify information necessary for court readiness, and promote accurate and consistent communication across systems.

The role enhances transparency, reduces delays, and supports informed decision-making for the Judicial Bench and court programs. The position also assists in expanding service coordination efforts by facilitating trainings, supporting specialty court initiatives, and fostering strong working relationships between the Court, DCS, and community partners.

This position functions in a coordination and liaison capacity and does not assume case management authority or decision-making responsibilities assigned to external agencies. The role supports communication, collaboration, and information sharing to assist the Court in carrying out its judicial functions.

Position Qualifications We recognize your time is valuable, so please apply if you meet the following required qualifications :

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, Public Administration, Criminal Justice, or a closely related field.

Other Requirements:

Valid Arizona Driver License and reliable personal transportation.

Our Preferred Candidate Has:

Two (2) years of professional experience working with dependency or delinquency court matters, child welfare systems, or family case management services.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of:

Judicial Branch policies, procedures, and court operations.

Arizona child welfare policies, procedures, and practices.

Dependency and delinquency court processes.

State and federal laws and regulations related to child welfare.

Community resources and service systems supporting children and families.

Professional English language usage, including grammar, spelling, and composition.

Skill in:

Facilitating trainings, meetings, and public presentations.
