Peer Support Specialist-BHPP

Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency offering residential, outpatient, inpatient, patient‑centered medical homes, medication‑assisted treatment, and crisis services to individuals experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness throughout Arizona.

The Peer Support Specialist (PSS) assigned to PCMH/OTP Community‑Based Services will provide one‑on‑one support, assist with day‑to‑day problem solving, and promote a safe and inclusive recovery environment. The PSS will apply best practices of assertive engagement, harm reduction, and peer support to engage members in the community and facility.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum six (6) months of experience in behavioral health and/or substance abuse field.
• Minimum six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders.
• Current valid AZ driver’s license in good standing.
• Clear 39‑month motor vehicle record.
• Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) or ability to obtain CPSS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Addiction and substance use disorders certification preferred.
