Position SummaryThe Clinical Director provides leadership and clinical direction to behavioral health staff across assigned locations. This role is responsible for ensuring clinical excellence by maintaining fidelity to evidence-based practices, providing ongoing clinical consultation and supervision, conducting clinical audits, and supporting program effectiveness and compliance with organizational policies, ethical standards, and state and federal regulations.
This leader will collaborate closely with operational leadership and clinical teams to optimize integrated outpatient services while ensuring patients receive compassionate, high-quality, person-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership, mentorship, and supervision to behavioral health clinicians.
- Conduct fidelity audits to ensure adherence to evidence-based treatment models.
- Facilitate scheduled clinical staffing meetings and provide ongoing clinical consultation.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, licensing standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with operational leaders to improve clinical workflows and service delivery.
- Support implementation of initiatives that strengthen integrated behavioral health services.
- Promote a collaborative, patient-centered culture focused on clinical excellence and positive patient outcomes.
Required:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field from a CSWE-accredited or equivalent accredited program.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
- Active Arizona licensure at the associate or independent level through the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners (AZBBHE), including one of the following:
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW/LMSW)
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC/LAC)
- Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT/LAMFT)
- Licensed Psychologist
- Must be in good standing with the AZBBHE and eligible to provide clinical supervision toward licensure.
- Valid government-issued identification.
- Current Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.
