Salary Range: $18.50 To $20.00 Hourly
Our
Dermatology Front Office Specialist helps ensure the clinic runs smoothly, stays on schedule, and delivers welcoming experience for patients.
Schedule:Monday through Friday
What you'll do:
- Schedule patients for new/returning/follow-up appointments and provide all necessary information to prepare them for medical appointments and procedures. Insurance verification with carriers and patients.
- Check patients in and ensure all paperwork and documentation is properly completed.
- Collects patient payments upon checkout working with back-office staff to ensure correct amount.
- Verifies authorizations and accepts or transmits fax information for needed physician patient information
- Organize and communicate with insurance companies for authorizations for therapies, testing and specialist referrals.
Skills and Experience:
- Medical front office or patient service experience is highly preferred
- Experience with insurance is highly preferred
- EMR (EzDerm) experience helpful
- Medical (as low as $68/month), Dental, and Vision Insurance
