Position: Staff Licensed Pharmacist
  • Verify prescriptions and conduct drug utilization reviews for accuracy and regulatory compliance
  • Review Prior Authorization requests and transfer patient prescriptions
  • Deliver and execute new and ongoing pharmacy projects and initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, HIPAA standards, and pharmacy law
  • Collaborate with teams across departments to ensure patient safety and seamless workflows
  • Improve patient medication adherence and health outcomes
  • Own pharmacy operations and meet productivity, efficiency, and accuracy expectations
  • Maintain accuracy while managing multiple priorities
  • Perform or assist the Pharmacist-in-Charge with operational tasks
  • Participate in meetings and work groups to address issues, obtain approvals, and stay current with industry developments
Requirements
  • RPh required;
    PharmD strongly preferred
  • Licensed pharmacist in OH or AZ, depending on the physical location; applicants with multiple state licensure are preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a pharmacist
  • Experience in a start-up environment or managerial position highly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Reliable and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve issues efficiently and effectively
  • Flexibility for opening and closing shifts
  • Ability to work onsite in either Columbus, OH or Scottsdale, AZ
  • Compliance with HIPAA standards, pharmacy law, and state and federal regulations
