Key Responsibilities

As our Learning & Onboarding Specialist
, you'll play an integral role in supporting employee success by:

  • Facilitating New Employee Orientation and foundational organizational training programs.
  • Creating engaging PowerPoint presentations, job aids, facilitator guides, participant materials, and onboarding resources.
  • Coordinating new hire onboarding activities and organizational training schedules.
  • Administering the Learning Management System (Relias), including employee learning assignments, reporting, and training records.
  • Monitoring mandatory training compliance and partnering with leaders to ensure timely completion.
  • Partnering with department leaders and subject matter experts to improve onboarding and learning experiences.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating processes and recommending enhancements.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to new employees and leaders throughout the onboarding journey.
  • Facilitate New Employee Orientation (NEO) and a variety of instructor-led training programs, including CPR/First Aid, Crisis Prevention, clinical support, regulatory, compliance, and other organizational trainings as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma required. Bachelors in a related field (Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health) highly preferred.
  • At least three (3) years of demonstrated experience in Learning & Development, Training, Employee Onboarding, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related field, with demonstrated experience coordinating training programs, facilitating learning, and developing training materials.
  • Preferred: experience in the healthcare/human services field.
Computer Skills
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Experience creating professional presentations, facilitator guides, participant materials, and job aids.
  • Experience administering a Learning Management System (LMS), preferably Relias.
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint or similar collaboration platforms.
  • Comfortable learning new technology and software applications.
