Data Solution Architect - MBSE & Ontology

Rate $101/hr. on W2
Schedule
:
Hybrid 3 days onsite per week 1st Shift 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Seeking a Data Solution Architect to refine and improve baseline ontology and data models for aerospace Process Specifications. This is a non-managerial individual contributor role focused on transitioning from document-based PDF or XML specs to model-based structured data.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop taxonomy and expand aerospace Process Specifications Ontology to identify process parameters and capture requirements from flag notes tables and all document sections
Partner with tools and IT teams to build data models for aerospace Process Specifications
Provide requirements to develop and enhance authoring and content management tools for refactored data
Survey Process Specifications and assess optimal ways to standardize content, relaxing and tightening refactoring requirements as needed
Operate in agile cadence with evolving requirements and devise innovative solutions for unique situations
- Education or
Experience:
Bachelor degree and 9 or more years related work experience OR Master degree and 7 or more years OR PhD and 4 or more years OR 13 years related work experience - Technical
Skills:
XML, RDF graph databases, conceptual object models and physical data models - Domain Knowledge:
Engineering data, basic understanding of engineering lifecycle specifically process specifications - MBSE:
Solid understanding of Model-Based Systems Engineering techniques for transitioning from document-based to model-based requirements - Methodology:
Agile experience, comfortable with evolving requirements - Other
