Underwriting Representative

A company is looking for an Accelerated Underwriting Representative to evaluate life insurance applications and manage related documentation.

Key Responsibilities Manage case ownership and complete non-risk assessment duties prior to underwriter assignment Expedite requests for additional information and verify HIPAA authorizations Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders while maintaining accurate case documentation

Required Qualifications Associate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum of three years of experience in a professional environment with exposure to computerized systems Proven ability to act independently and solve problems Knowledge of the insurance industry is desirable Successful completion of any required testing
